Another cabinet company designed something for me and gave me a quote. What is the process for getting the same from you?

It’s very easy. Just email or send a fax with the quote you received, along with the design which includes the measurements and dimensions. Send us your floor plan with measurements and we will give you a free ballpark quote. Design drawings require a $300 design deposit, credited toward your cabinet order.

What are RTA cabinets?

RTA stands for READY-TO-ASSEMBLE kitchen cabinets. Generally speaking, RTA cabinets are much more affordable than custom made cabinets or even brand name cabinets. But even though they cost less, RTA cabinets made from reputable companies are actually made with the same level of quality that you can expect from more expensive custom cabinet companies. With RTA cabinets like ours, all the necessary parts are included. You’ll get everything you need to assemble the actual cabinets except the tools. We use cam locks for most of the cabinet styles and most of the holes are predrilled so a good screwdriver can often be enough to get the job done, though we much prefer you use a power drill. 20 minutes is enough time for most handy homeowners or contractors to assemble a simple cabinet on average. All cabinets on our site are RTA. We used to offer pre-assembled cabinets but discontinued them because of the high shipping cost and the rate of damage in transit.

Do you sell pre-assembled cabinets?

No. Every cabinet we sell is ready-to-assemble (RTA) and ships flat-packed, so assembly is required. We previously offered pre-assembled cabinets but discontinued them because of the high shipping cost and the rate of damage in transit. If you have exposed cabinet sides you may also need skin panels, and you will need toe kicks.

We understand that this might be your first time to assemble cabinets yourself. We are trying our best to make the assembly instructions as clear as possible. Can I get a sample from you?

We always recommend getting a sample door to make sure you know how the cabinet is going to look and feel. Sample doors are $25 each, and sample chips for our European flat-panel semi-custom finishes are $12.50 each. Shipping is included in the sample price. If you place a cabinet order of $3,000 or more within 90 days of your sample purchase, we will credit your sample cost toward that order, up to $50.
